Yunus is a site of independent religious journalism that tries to bring religious news and interviews on religious subjects that are of relevance to the present global society.

Yunus tries to bring news from east to west and visa versa with the intent of bringing about a better understanding about and between religions.

Although Yunus has a commercial setup it doesn't have the intent of merely bringing sensational news about the clash of religious civilizations. On the contrary Yunus hopes to prove that it is possible to assemble different opinions, views and ideas without having it turn into conflict.

In so doing Yunus wants to bring the religious news that is seldom heard or listened to. A focus on contemporary problems and burning issues does not mean that only the problematic side of religion has to be emphasized, but above all the possible solutions to this problem that religions and authoritative religious figures have to offer should be highlighted. That is the object of this site.

Yunus is not biased, neither related to any religion. But it does originate out of a believe that everybody has the right to follow his or her religion and that they should be allowed to speak in their own words about their beliefs and their actions that relate to those beliefs.

Yunus is of course also concerned with properly bringing a truthful account of religious matters. This means that Yunus does not go out of the way of some more painful or less flattering news about certain religions. But it also means that Yunus tries to go against the distorted images, wrongly presented facts and sometimes even awful lies that are sadly enough often connected with accounts of religious events, people and phenomena.
