Episopal priest wants to be a Muslim as well
The Rev. Ann Holmes Redding, who was ordained as an Episcopal priest 20 years ago stated in June that she has been a Muslim as well for the last 15 months. Such a statement has of course led to a lot of debates within the Episcopal church and to a conflict with her Bishop. The Bishop friendly advised her to think it all over for a year. During that time she is not to exercise any of the responsibilities and privileges of an Episcopal priest or deacon. Redding, who feels she is responding to God 's will is saddened, but also wants to abide by the rulings of her bishop.
